I'm sorry, the plan is not to have 5 poor blokes as Russians being chased through the forests by 60 SSA WWII E&E at some point has/is being considered , possibly around a downed bomber crew scenario but I wouldn't hold your breath to see it announced this year. Given the general level of fitness amongst players finding 8 who could do the full 24 hours like we run at IED might take some time .
I am hoping that this game will stimulate some Russian /Partisan interest so that one day we could run more Ostfront , esp a Stalingrad, which I'm sure we'd all like to do and for which we'll need Russians.
If you're looking for a big game for the "German" Germans why not do Gunmans D-Day

Thats why I'm asking, if its a balenced game there's no point in bringing the Germans over from the continent, as you won't get the numbers on the Russian side. I think for this to work you'll have to make it an E&E jobby, which I think would jazz this up no end, you'd get more people interested in that senario, as there just arn't enough people who will play as Russians.
Plus how big is this forest place, is it like the one in Wales, that would probably suit an E&E game better. The plan is to have a balanced game in smallish numbers , think 40 max probably . It's not an E&E as such .
The struggle will be to get enough Partisans/Russians at the mo .

Guy, I take it that this Bryansk Forest event is a Hunter force type of operation where you'll be wanting more hunters than hunted?
Its just that Peter (Vorwarts) is wanting to come to the UK for another event with a few more Germans, I've already suggested this event, as I'd like to think we can get a full platoon of anti partisan SS, with two motorcyles and sidecars (Nelz and Anthony) working for this one. Just need to know if you're thinking of limiting the numbers. Let me know your thoughts!Chris

Don't know if you're still going ahead with the RFG, but I think there might be about 10 or 12 Russian ww2 reenactors that are interested. problem is we'll need to get airsoft weapons for them, as they arn't airsofters. I'll start making some moves to get them on side shortly, assuming its still on!

Quite , although "his" SS might not be quite a many as he thinks .....as to the reenactors he's pulling in , I'd pers prefer a few more John Ms, Foresters and Neills to many more of them (although Anthony's ok)
At the end of the day , we put on the games , they just play. If they want to put on a game then even better , however Stubble clearly thinks like a player rather than an organiser, something we identified and incorpoarted from day 1. Plus his contacts for sites are zilch AFAIK, which could be a problem .
